ABOUT ME

I build products that make life easier for users and shift the dial for businesses. With 20+ years across design and tech, I turn messy and fuzzy problems into simple shippable solutions. I work closely with multifunctional teams through the full product lifecycle - from discovery to delivery - combining product strategy, user insight, and quick iteration to ship work that matters. I use research, systems thinking, and generative AI to help teams make better decisions and move faster.

MY PROCESS

Design is about creativity and less about following formulae. Every single project, team, and challenge is varies from one to the other - and this calls for being flexible and pragmatic. Working in fast-paced (and dare I say oftentimes chaotic) environments has taught me to balance speed with craft, and adapt my approach accordingly. My process is to champion the user while collaborating closely with dev and being adaptive. Structure is what I rely on to stay focused, but knowing when to bend it is an indispensable skill - because in the end it is about solving the right problems and creating real value.

Designed and developed a cross-platform household task management app that reduces relationship friction through fair, transparent chore distribution. schedgy.app

Project Overview

In today's busy world, it's easy for things to slip through the cracks. Small tasks pile up and eventually become an overwhelming mountain of work that no one wants to tackle. Schedgy solves this by providing a real-time collaborative task management solution with fair task distribution and a rotational system, reducing the mental load for everyone involved. It offers users a library of kits to get them started on their journey, and has gamification built in to keep the experience engaging.

Role & Responsibilities

End-to-end product design and ownership spanning conceptualisation, design aesthetic, UI/UX, user research, and persona development. Developed gamification strategies and built the iOS and Android apps using Flutter with AI-assisted coding via Claude Code. Managed testing through TestFlight and Google Play, and created all app store materials for launch.

Outcomes

Production-ready iOS and Android app with free and plus subscription tiers, available in 5 languages (and 2 regional variants). Features 26 household kits with 300+ weighted tasks covering diverse living situations, real-time multi-user synchronisation with offline support, and 4 assignment rotation patterns for fair task distribution.

Home Dashboard

The home screen provides a date-filtered task list with an intuitive week calendar for navigation. Users can quickly see what needs to be done today, browse upcoming tasks, and review task history with time-block organisation (morning, afternoon, evening) for better daily planning.

Task Management & Kits

Comprehensive task management with detailed task configuration including recurrence patterns, and member assignment with rotation support. Users can easily add kits to their household and switch individual tasks or entire kits on or off depending on their specific requirements.

Rotation System

Four distinct rotation patterns ensure fair task distribution among household members. Tasks can rotate daily, weekly, monthly, or after each completion.
