GREENHEART EXCHANGE

Led and designed the end-to-end product and flow for their exchange platform.

Project Overview

Greenheart Exchange is a platform for international students to find exchange and internship programs. Their current system was outdated and cumbersome to use. I redesigned the entire experience to reduce manual work and inefficiencies.

Role & Responsibilities

I designed the entire international student exchange and internship product - end to end. Application management and reviews for sending and receiving partners; local contractor and host-family recruiting and application management; placement matching workflows; and participant and program management through to departure.

Student List Views

The dashboard view allows Local Coordinators (LCs) to view all students and assess whether a student would be a good fit for any Host Families they are managing.

Profile Pages

Both sides of a placement get one detailed profile - student and host family alike - giving a Local Coordinator everything needed to judge a match: background and preferences, documents, placement history and the practical considerations that decide whether two people will live well together.

Application Feedback System

Reviews run as a two-sided loop: partners and admins leave feedback against an application, and the student sees exactly what needs attention and can act on it, keeping the back-and-forth inside the platform instead of scattered across email.

Student Dashboard

The student's home base pulls the whole journey into one view - where the application stands, what is still outstanding and what happens next - so they always know the next step on the way to departure.

Mobile Experience & Forms

The coordinator tools follow the work into the field. On mobile, Local Coordinators run their dashboard and complete the visit paperwork on the spot - the in-home interview and the second site visit - rather than writing it up later at a desk.
